Stretch ‘n Tone
Our Stretch ‘n Tone classes are led by Emily Hunter, RPT twice per week in the evenings. These one hour classes focus on strengthening and stretching in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. These fun classes run in 6-week blocks. Please contact us for more information and to register!
Our Pilates classes are run by certified instructors once per week. Classes are one hour long and focus on core strength. We offer classes for intermediate levels. Please contact us for more information and to register!
Do you suffer from Osteoporosis? We offer a program composed of 2 one hour sessions with a physiotherapist. The first session will be designed to assess your specific needs and design an exercise program for you. The second session will cover day-to-day activities and movements. This program will improve your understanding of osteoporosis, answer your questions and increase your ability to avoid injuries in the future. Hip & Knee
Hunter Physiotherapy continues to offer our Hip & Knee class, developed to assist in the rehab of total hip and knee replacements, covering both the pre-op and post-op. Our program consists of six, 1-hour small group sessions of guided exercise focusing on regaining mobility, strength, endurance, balance and most importantly, improving daily functional movements. It involves all of the exercises that focus on core stability, balance and proper functional movements, for example, getting out of chair, climbing stairs, walking, bending etc.
We feel that this approach helps the patient to see how improvements from exercise can apply to activities of daily living. If you wish to, or need specific attention, we do offer one on one sessions. These would include guided exercise and hands on therapy by one of our Physiotherapists.
